For considering foreign Travel in Astrology Chara Rashi or Movable signas are of Prime importance. Movable Sign means-the changing tendency is high in these signs. So when Planets are placed in these signs, they give a changing tendency to the native like changing of residence, changing of job, changing of country etc.

🙆Watery Signs like Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are specially Very important for Traveling Abroad. For going to foreign countries we need to cross seas. So watery signs are so much important.Cancer is both Movable and Watery sign. More over it is the natural 4th house of the zodiac. So it has special importance for foreign travel in astrology.
➕ Planets Like Rahu, Moon, Saturn, venus in watery Sign are good indication of Foreign Travel.
In Vedic Astrology, Rahu is called the “Foreign Planet”. It always represents foreigners. If in any birth chart or horoscope “foreign travel” houses are connected and there is a connection of Rahu with that particular yoga, so it is definite that In Rahu Mahadasa or Antardasa the person will travel foreign countries.
When it comes to settlement and overall foreign travels, the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 12th houses fare over the decisions. From here, the 12th and the 9th House & Ascendants or Lagna are the most influential. While the 12th House represents property and housing in the foreign settlement, the 9th House denotes long traveling.
The 4th House, of course, shows your homeland. However, if the 4th House has its position in the 12th House, there are higher chances of foreign travel and settlement.
⛰3rd House: If the 3rd House is in the 4th and 12th House, a short foreign journey is possible.
⛰7th House: The Lord of the 7th House represents both foreign journey and settlement abroad.
⛰8th House: With the 8th House in position, you shall have changes in the current profession.  any connection of the house with the 12th house can give you sudden foreign travel or Journeys in your life.
⛰10th House: Your professions and career are in the 10th House.  show any connection of the tenth house with the twelfth house in the horoscope can give you foreign travel related to your profession.

Direction of planets and the purpose of travel

Involvement of Sun in Yogas related to foreign travels indicates journeys towards eastern direction and since Sun is the head of solar system and of huge size it also represents long distance travels.

Involvement of Moon in Yogas related to foreign travels indicates journeys towards north-western direction from the place of birth of a person but the travels will be frequent.

Involvement of Mars in these Yogas indicate journey towards southern direction, being an airy planet it indicates a travel of a medium distance by air.

When Mercury is involved it indicates a trip towards northern direction which will be related to business, science and education during higher studies or jobs.

Involvement of Saturn in the Yogas related to foreign travels indicates a trip towards western direction and since it is far away from Sun, it indicates long-distance travels.

Involvement of Venus indicates medium distance travels towards south-eastern direction. These journeys will be related to leisure and entertainment.

Rahu is the planet of secrecy and diplomacy. Therefore, involvement of Rahu in the Yogas related to foreign trips indicates secret journeys and diplomatic visits.

Involvement of Rahu and Ketu is highly inauspicious due to which a person is forced to go to away to a land which is far away from his or her birth place.

Planetary Combinations For Abroad Travel:

➡When lagna lord is positioned in 9th/12th house or vice versa.

➡4th house or its lord is irritated (in a terrible aspect of malefics.

➡Lord of 4th house is positioned 6th, 8th or 12th bhavas.

➡When Rahu or Ketu is related to the 4th house or 4th lord, it is nearly specific that the individual will settle always in a abroad country.

➡When the owner of the 4th house is in the 12th house, it is an indication that the person will have a permanent home in foreign. This will be beneficial only when the 9th house is also powerful.

What is the Timing of Foreign Travel?

If you wish to know when you will be travelling to abroad then it will be during certain specific timings if you have the above state combination in your horoscope. You are expected to travel in Mahadasha or Bhukti of the following:

1. Jupiter or Rahu planet and its connection with the ascendant.
2. Dasha of 3rd/ 9th/ 12th lord or planets in connection with respective lord or house or ascendant.
3. Dasha of Rahu is very good for foreign travels as per astrology.

✔Transit also plays a very important role. For example – If Jupiter is placed in 7th or 9th or 12th house in transit so in that time foreign travel is possible. But remember, if there is no foreign travel yoga in horoscope or if any foreign travel-related yoga planet’s Dasha is not going on at that time so the transit system won’t work.
