Career Line in Palmistry

The career line, or fate or Saturn line is an excellent indicator of change in the life of its owner, which is why it is a valuable guide for success in life. The career line in a palm reading is not always about work; it’s also about motivation and life direction.

Where is the career line located in a Palm?

Very difficult to locate for some people, the career line is a vertical line on the palm running from the base of the fingers to the wrist. The starting point of the line can be anywhere at the base of the fingers, while for most people, it is somewhere near the middle finger.

Some astrologers call this line the Saturn line too. It is a depiction of one’s fortune and having this line without jerks is a good omen. It’s a sign that you will prosper across different domains of life and the direction you choose for yourself.

Types of Career Line

The ideal career line begins at the base of the palm and rises neatly to the base of the middle finger. However, it is rare to have such a perfect example of the career line.

CURVED OR WAVY CAREER LINE

A gently curving career line indicates a gradual change in their occupation or in their life. The sharper the curve, the more drastic is the change. If it veers from side to side, it predicts that the ambitions are not well directed and there is a waste of energy in efforts throughout their life.

DOUBLE CAREER LINE

A double line, (two fate lines) depending on how tight they run to each other can refer to two similar occupations, hobbies or study alongside a career at the same time.

FORKED CAREER LINE

The forked career line looks like a second formation of the line. It is a branch line that represents a sideline project, occupation or enterprise. The line usually rises to the Apollo finger (ring finger) suggesting a successful direction or sector of the career.

BROKEN CAREER LINE

A broken line, but one that overlaps alongside the second part of the line, presents a planned change in career or lifestyle.If the breaks do not overlap, and there is a space before it continues, it is an unexpected change. It might be a time when progress regarding career or goals has come to a standstill. The motivation and purpose are no longer justifiable. Look for clues on the life, head and heart lines.

What if you do not have a career line?

Having no career line does not mean the person has ‘no career’ in their life. It can show that they have not made strict plans for their direction in life. It might be that they are unmotivated, but it is more likely that they prefer to take life as it comes, not bound by any demands, responsibility or purpose.

Shape Of Fate Line

Deep and Long

● A deep, straight and long fate line which begins from the base of the palm and extends to the Mount of Saturn (under the middle finger) indicates a strong ability to start and run your own career or business. You usually emphasis on credibility thus could have a successful career with endlessly strives.

● If the line becomes narrower and thinner gradually from the middle part of the palm, it indicates a smooth career fortune during the younger days and a worse fortune after the middle age.  

 

Shallow

A shallow fate line indicates a hard work and career full of twists and turns. 

● If your line is shallow and wide, you are destined to have a hard working life and fail to achieve great things. 

● If the line is shallow at the same time narrow and obscure, it shows you are not like to be bound by a common destiny.  

Fate Line ending at the Heart Line

A Fate Line without any defects, going straight and ending at the Heart Line indicates the person will have earnings till his 55th to 58th year. I have often verified this type of Fate Line in the people who are in Government service and who get retired at that age. [Fig 3] Sometimes, it also indicates failure in love affairs.

Fate Line ending at the Head Line

There will be wrong judgment on the part of the person. He will see failures because of his wrong decisions, especially after his 35th year of age. [Fig 4]

Fate Line ending before reaching Head Line

If the Fate Line ends in the center of the palm before reaching the Head Line, it indicates struggle in earnings. The person leads a hard life. There will not be any savings. There will be debts to be repaid. 

If the fate line starts from Moon mount it denotes any career connected to mass. Actually, the moon represents mass. With this, if Jupiter’s finger is longer than Sun’s finger with a healthy mount and also the little finger has reached or crossed the first phalange of ring finger so the person will prosper in politics.

Career line on right hand: If career/Fate or destiny line only appears on the right palm that means the person will achieve success in life on his own credibility, they are also called self-made people. They make their own way and achieve their target or goal. With this, if Saturn mount or finger is also strong so the person will achieve all those after a lot of hard work.

Career line on the left hand: If that is only present in the left hand, so the person, may get a lot of opportunities easily, but he/she will not be interested at all to apply those practices. Here other parameters of a hand should be judged. The native may have a fully different objective in life to achieve, what doesn’t match with our day to day life, or he/she can be a lazy or auto directed person.
