Guru refers to Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet of creative thinking, knowledge, and learning. Once Rahu, the Chandal planet, enters your birth chart and both Jupiter and Rahu are in the same house, then you will have to face Guru Chandal Dosha.

Characteristics of Guru Chandal Dosh

  1. The tendency to mingle and increase acquaintance with negative minded people. Those who will misguide the person. Thus, leading you into some scandal or wrongdoing.

  • Pay respect to the parents, parents-in-law, elderly people, teacher, saints and Guru etc.
  • Donating Yellow Color goods and dresses, honey and turmeric to the teachers and Brahmins can help to neutralize the negative influence of the Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu.
  • The native should feed birds and animals.
  • The native can worship Goddess Bagalamukhi regularly.
  • One should never think of doing any kind of Unethical activities having this yoga in 12th house.
  • Try to serve people or help them to recover faster who are in the mental asylum due to severe mental issues.

Note:Almost more than 10% of people have Guru Chandal dosh in their birth chart. It is very important to calculate the position of the Moon and ascendant to evaluate the effect of Guru Chandal Yoga. The conjunction of Jupiter and Rahu will not harm if you have been running through positive Mahadasha.
