Heart Disease in Vedic Astrology and its Remedies

Heart Disease comes under the category of cardiovascular disease – what includes all type of heart related diseases, disease of blood vessels etc. Indications are very much known to us. “Stroke” and “Angina Pectoris (chest pain)” are very common of them. Nowadays high blood pressure has become also a big problem. People take medicine for long period of time, some for whole life. But, they do not know that through proper yoga and Ayurvedic or Homeopathic treatment the disease can be cured Permanently. By taking some other pills you are just making your heart more weaker day by day and making your body dependent on those medicines.

What causes Heart Attack?

  • Increased concentration of carbon dioxide concentration in blood- Excess of carbon dioxide begins reaching to the heart which hampers proper functioning of heart. In simple words the main activity area, which is ruled by Ketu, fails to function properly. So Ketu’s affliction in forth house along with Sun is responsible for worsening the situation.
  • At times due to excess formation of fat in the blood, a substance known as Cholesterol starts forming thereby making the blood impure and concentrated. A large amount of pressure is applied by the heart to pump the blood and, this result in choking of arteries thereby causing heart attacks. This happens due to the affliction of Moon, Sun and Saturn.

The Sun is the significator for heart. When several Malefic influences operate upon the Sun, heart disease may be indicated in the Presence of other adverse influences and appropriate dasha periods. The sign Simha: Simha indicates the heart of the Kalapurusha. The soul of heart’s internal functional system is represented by this planet.As a result, if Sun makes any relation with Marak, Badhak, 6th, 8th, and 12th lord then it will affect the internal system. This will weaken the immunity of the body and may cause heart disease.

Moon: It controls the watery part of our body. Like – water in the blood. In case of heart it controls the blood flow into the heart.

Mars: Mars is the significator of muscles. It controls the muscular system and bone marrow of our body. In case of heart it controls the muscular function.

Jupiter: Jupiter controls Arteries & Veins.

Rahu: Unpredictable sudden attacks. It can complicate any disease including heart related. Specially if it is connected with Sun & Jupiter.

The houses which are responsible for heart disease are:

Lagna or Ascendant: It controls overall bodily functions, and heart is also included. It is the 10th house from the 4th, hence very important, 10th house from any house shows development of the lagna house.

4th House: The house of heart. All heart related functions come under this house’s ruler-ship.

6th house: The house of diseases, temporary or short term diseases. Diseases – possible to cure.

8th house: The house of Death due to any short or long term diseases and by other means, medications for longer period of time etc. Diseases – nearly impossible to cure.

Some of the Yog in the horoscope causing heart disease are:

  • Malefic planets placed in 4th house, debilitated planets in 4th house or in cancer sign can cause frequent chest pain.
  • If 4th lord or sublord is occupying 8th house and 4th lord is combust by being conjunct with sun, person will have weak heart
  • Malefic placed in both 4th and 5th houses of a horoscope or placed in cancer and leo signs.
  • If 5th lord is debilitated or occupying 8th house or is conjunct with 8th lord in either of 6,8,12 houses, heart will be weak.
  • If 5th lord is combust by sun, heart will become weak.
  • Sun in aquarius will also cause weak heart.
  • If sun is 6th lord(for pisces ascendants) and occupies 4th house, then heart attack chances are more.
  • A weak ascendant lord conjunct with Rahu in 4th house or in cancer sign, will give fear of death through heart attacks.

Some of the remedies to pacify planet and prevent heart disease or to get cured from heart disease as per astrology are:

  • Every day during 5-6 in the morning give water to Sun God. Sun God will give strength to you and support you in health. You will be saved from heart diseases.
  • Give highest regards to your father grandfather and anyone equal to them in your life. Their blessings will give you a good and healthy heart.
  • Meditating for heart chakra is very good. It brings inflow of love and understanding in relationship in your life.
  • Drink lot of water and meditate daily. Planet moon is in good position to maintain your heart healthy and your blood pressure normal.
  • To speed up the cure, follow these suggestive remedies on three days viz. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
  • Every Sunday recite Gayatri Mantra at sun rise time by sitting in a comfortable position. In every sitting recite 108 times.

  • Jupiter planet is not very kind on you and may have bad influence by increasing body fat that may lead to heart attack, do some good deeds like spreading knowledge by donating and distributing books.
  • Worship your 5th house planet. If 5th house is in 6th house or 8th house then heart issues arises. Worship 5th house planet for good heart.
  • Donate white products such as rice, sugar, salt, clothing etc. to the needy people every Monday.
