Why are irregular-shaped plots not advised to buy according to Indian Vastu?
According to Vastu Shastra, plots should be selected carefully, to channelise the harmonious energy in one’s lives. The land is the foundation of energy on which depends the quality of other energies that impact the structure constructed on it. The location, surroundings, wind, water bodies, soil type and sunlight, determine the Vastu of a place and, consequently, the quality of life in a house built there. Generally in regular shaped plots, one or the Other directions may get missed due to its shape as a result the energy which acts in that direction does not provide results properly. Hence other directions gets stronger due to that and if they are negative in nature the effects of the same will materialise with passing time. As a result irregular shaped plots should be avoided as but the rules of vastu shastra.
In Vastu Shastra, the beneficial shapes are square and rectangle (with proper ratio). These plot shapes lead to prosperity, wellbeing and happiness for the owner. Other shapes, such as circle, U or L-shaped plots have missing corners that may cause serious problems, depending on the section that is missing. Round, oval, triangular, semi-circle, cart shaped and star-shaped plots should also be avoided. Avoid plots with any major extensions, cuts or slopes in the corners.
Some of the Other shaped plots in Vastu Shastra and their effects on the people living there in general are:
- Gaumukhi plot is ideal for residential usage since it resembles a cow, which represents the best of everything.
- A plot with a lion face (shermukhi) is suitable for commercial construction.
- The site has a triangular design, which causes issues, particularly with the government.
- Inauspicious plots cause different health problems, losses, and unhappiness in the house and people residing in it.
- Oval or semi-circular: are inauspicious, causing a variety of health problems, losses, bad luck and unhappiness in the house and those living in it.
- Circular-shaped is only suitable for the construction of similarly shaped buildings.
- Litigation is inevitable with a polygonal plot.
- Octagonal brings wealth all around.
- The narrative is formed like a bucket, and it leads to debt.
- The narrative is designed like a wheel, and it results in financial loss.
- Fear and dread are attracted by the bow-shaped plot.
- A drum-shaped plot invites resentment and the loss of family members.
- The plot in the shape of a pitcher leads to serious health problems.
- Vardhan Mukhi Akaar (pig-faced shaped) might lead to family members' death.
- The owner and his family are imprisoned in a turtle-shaped plot.
- The narrative is fashioned like a hand fan, and it leads to a loss of money.
- The feather-shaped plot is unlucky and brings bad luck.
- The narrative is fashioned like a star, and it leads to legal action.
- You will perpetually be in debt if you live in a bucket-shaped plot.
- A layout with projections and missing corners that is oddly formed.
Only extensions in the directions of north, north-east, east, and east-northeast are helpful. Other extensions aren't so great. Extensions to the southeast, northwest, or southwest are not advised due to bad luck.
Hence, a plot should be accepted or rejected keeping in mind the cumulative effect of all factors. The broad demarcations, are of paramount importance, and should be kept in mind when purchasing a plot.
Hope this Helps….
