What is the Story and reason behind Rahu Kaal❓
Understand Planet Rahu
Rahu is known to be the most tricky and manipulative planet. This planet rules our deep and unseen feelings or activities. It governs our ego, aggression, mental, and psychic state.
Also, it can be harsh and more threatening if it is paired with Mars. It drives all the suspicious, hidden, and mysterious skills/ways and features a person can show. Rahu controls Gambling, money earned from dubious origins, diplomacies, and underground activities.
As per the astrology, no planet is fully harsh or malefic; every planet has its own merit and demerits. So Rahu is also not always fearsome. It has assertive consequences too!
A rightly placed Rahu can bestow you with wealth, expansion, and fame. It also showers mystical wisdom and spiritual enlightenment. Such a person may explore a lot and can give a notable impression on people's life.
✅ Rahu Kaal refers to the bad time or inauspicious time on every day which is not considered favourable to start any new activity. As per Hindu astrology, Rahu Kaal covers a span of about 90 minutes every day in between sunrise and sunset. The planets according to vedic astrology are the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Rahukaal (Raahukaala) and Gulikakaal (Gulikakaala) are calculated based on these planets.
⛰Even though Rahu and Ketu are not physical bodies, they are sensitive points on the intersection of the ecliptic (the apparent path of motion of the Sun) by the Moon’s orbit. Rahu is the northern point and Ketu is the southern point. Hence Vedic astrologers felt that the mighty Rahu and Ketu have the strength to obscure the sun, thus causing a solar eclipse.Rahu is a shadow planet and is the king of meteors in the nine mythological planets (navagrahas) mentioned in Hindu texts. In mythological texts, a demon named Shavarbhanu had propelled himself as a god during the churning of the ocean to receive Amrita from Mohini and had taken the nectar of deceit, so Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra Asura was cut into two parts, Rahu and Ketu. Rahu is considered to be a male planet that tries to eclipse the Sun and the time period when Rahu affects the Sun is considered inauspicious.
🔔To calculate Rahukaal, the time between the sunrise and sunset is divided into 8 units or time-groups, which time-group will have the Rahukaal depends on the weekday. For each weekday, Rahukaal falls as under:
Sunday – 8th Muhurt (Unit)
Monday – 2nd Muhurt
Tuesday – 7th Muhurt
Wednesday – 5th Muhurt
Thursday – 6th Muhurt
Friday – 4th Muhurt
Saturday – 3rd Muhurt
🔔The timespan of Rahukaal varies each day and needs to be calculated as per the sunrise and sunset time. The times below can be used in absence of access to accurate Rahukaal. These times are accurate only if the daylight lasts for 12 hours, and the sunrise is at 6.00 AM. For longer or shorter days, the times need to be adjusted.
❌Rahu governs this period. No important activity should be undertaken during this period. If begun in Rahu Kalam, it is said, any action does not give positive results. Those activities that have already been started do not get affected by this period governed by Rahu.
Hope this Helps….
