Longevity Calculation in Astrology:

"How long will i live"?This is one question people often ask an astrologer,but hate to get the correct reply.There are various techniques by which it can be predicted:

Brahma,Vishnu and Rudra(Shiva) are three aspects of GOD. Brahma is the creator. Vishnu is sustainer and Rudra is destroyer.

Movable Signs:-The presiding deity of movable signs is Brahma and energy level of these signs is maximum so these signs give LONG LIFE.

Dual Signs:- The presiding deity of dual signs is vishnu and energy level of these signs is medium so these signs gives MIDDLE  LIFE.

Fix Signs:-The presiding deity of fixed signs is Shiva and is destroyer so these signs give SHORT LIFE.

The longevity is divided into four important phases.

1.Balaristam-Death within the first 8years of birth.

2.Alpayus-Death within 32 years.

3.Madayu-Death within 50 years.

4.Poorayu-Death after 70 years of age.

⛔ The method of Jaimini is used extensively to understand the longevity of a person.

⛔ The lagna lord and 8th lord are taken into consideration,and checked for their positions in natal chart.

⛰For long life:Both of them(lagna and 8th lord) should be in moving signs or one should be in fixed sign and other should be in dual sign.

⛰For medium life:Both of them should be in dual sign or one should be in fixed and other should be in moving sign.

⛰For short life:Both of them should be in a fixed sign or one should be in dual sign and the other should be in moving sign.

1.Moon and Saturn

2.Lagna and Hora Lagna

The best among the three are taken into consideration to check the life span of a person.

Eighth Lord Placement Method:Determine the stronger lord between 8th house lords from 1st and 7th house. It means determine the stronger lord between the lords of 2nd house and 8th house. If this lord is placed in:-

⇒ Quadrant houses i.e 1, 4,7,10 it gives Long Life.
⇒ Succeeding houses also known as Panphara houses i.e.2,5,8,11,it gives Middle Life
⇒ Precedent houses also known as Apokilam houses 3.6.9.12,it gives Short Life.

The basic factors that affect the longevity of any person.

🌐Strength of Lord of eighth house.

🌐The placement of 7th house.

🌐The strength of ascendant.

🌐The planets in first house or lagna or planets placed there.

🌐Strength & placement Saturn also is a factor in longevity- as a karaka.

Last but not the least,check the Mahadasha and Antardasha the person is running.Like the dasha of the 12th house speaks a person to hospitalization,8th house can give serious accidents or death threats,etc if the planetary transits and other factors also support in the birth chart.
