The 64th Navamsha

The 64th Navamsha Concept 👆

Gochara or transit is a topic which has been viewed from various standpoints in astrological classics. The most commonly followed technique of delineating gochara results is based on slow movig planets like Saturn,Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu in relation with natal moon.

Astrological Classics like Deva Keralam, Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra, Jataka Parijata,Prashna Marga, etc speak of certain sensitive area s in a birth chart and transit of Saturn over these areas is said to cause much distress and even death. One such sensitive area is the 64th Navamsha (3 degree 20 minutes or 200 minutes arc) from the navamsha occupied by moon or ascendant.

🌏The 64th Navamsha from that occupied by a planet will be the same Navamsha  in the 8th sign in order sequence. For eg a planet in Mesha 8 degree 30 minutes in the 3rd navamsha from the beginning sign of Mesha ,the 64th Navamsha will be 3rd Navamsha in Vrishchika, the 8th sign. The 64th Navamsha  will have same degreecal navamsha arc i.e in the above example the navamsha of the planet ranges from Mesha 6degree40minutes to 10 degree;and 64 divided by 12,will leave a remainder 4;so the 64th Navamsha will be the 4th sign from the planet’s navamsha sign i.e for the above eg it will be in Mithuna navamsha of Mesha Sign. Therefore the 64th Navamsha will be Kanya in Vrischik sign.

Vulnerable points in the horoscope:

The following seven planet are termed as chhidra Grahas:
Ø The lord of the 8th house.
Ø The planet occupying the 8th house.
Ø The planet aspecting the 8th house.
Ø The lord of the Khara i.e 22nd drekkna from that of ascendant.
Ø The lord of 64th navamsha from Moon.
Ø The Atisatru(bitter enemy) of the lord of the 8th house.

The death of any native can be indicated in the dasha of the strongest of the above seven planets.

The Moon at the timing of Death:

The death of a person may occur when moon in the transit enters the 64th navamsha reckoned from the navamsha occupied by the ascendant at birth or when such Navamsha is rising at that time.

Rising Sign at Death:

· The sign representing the 64th navamsha reckoned from the ascendant or moon is rising can cause death.
· The 7th house sign from the 8th house i.e 2nd house sign is rising.
· The 7th house Sign is rising.

Note:One departs from this world if any of this rising sign is devoid of any bindus or has least number of bindus in ashtakvarga and the dasha running during that time is of an adverse planet.

Examination of Hand in Palmistry

Examination of the left hand or Right hand in Palmistry? According to ancient treatise on palmistry(Samudrika Shastra),a women's left hand and a man's right hand should be read for making predictions. But in modern age,as women have become equally capable as men, research shows that the left hand indicates the qualities of a person and right hand indicates the changes brought in life according to his/her karma.       As a result, the active hand with which a person is writes should be considered more important and the other hand should be taken as minor hand. There is no need to distinguish between men and women in this score.      For example,if a right handed person has some defect in the life line of the left hand(indicating qualities),but at the same point the life line of the right hand(karma) has no defects,it can be said that the person may have some health issues, surgeries, etc at that point of life which will get cured by treatment(karmas).     Thus the palmist should iden
